The comply and development was approved in November, for future ref not going through council would of been cheaper and faster....Private certifyer took twice as long as Port Stephens Council and we had to spend an extra $500 on a bush fire cert that council didn't require
Red pegs went in the ground this week and all paperwork (Why on earth is their so much of this) copmplete, it's being sent off to estimate (No idea what that actually is) but then it's in the hands of the builders...yay I expect a slab in a couple of weeks.
But I must say in Eden Brae's defence they have so far honoured the price which was fixed until Nov 30 so more than happy about that.
The house next door is almost at lock up along with more than 20 others, McDonald Jones started 3 before Christmas but so far it's just plumbing and no slabs and Masterton (I think, they haven't bothered to put a sign up) has just poured the slab for the home opposite and up from us. Our neighbour on the other side desgined her own environmentally friendly home and had issues with plans being wrong so hers are still at council.
