We have a new building supervisor Paul, met him on site yesterday, was able to let me know how some of the little gaps would get filled, and assured me they would remove the water from the pipe in the kitchen that the electrical wiring runs through to the island bench. So all good. Tyrell's inspection this week, roof to be completed and bats arriving late this week ready for gyp-rockers next week.

So today the water tank was plumbed in and Nick was quite distressed to see a "do not drink" sign over the back tap, as he had before. I assured him it was not joined to roof then and he had been drinking town water. The roof capping has been completed and safety rails should be removed in the next day or so. Our neighbour is fencing so we will have a side fence soon. Dan is quite shocked at the distance between us and the fence thinking we had 1.5 m from the eave but it's from the slab, so just hoping it won't feel too claustrophobic.
